Marketing

Marketing is one of those things that I know little about, but I'm not as overwhelmed as I am the business side of the planning industry. Again, I have a trusty resource, my dad.  Yes, this character is a man of many trades! And I'm blessed that he not only has the knowledge, but wants to share it!

Yesterday was a long working session of lots of information but lots of things got accomplished :)  As you saw on yesterday's post, we have a logo.  We also have a business card, created by Danell Kearns as well.

 

I also spent time in Linkedin.com updating my profile to now include this business.  I was also introduced to the group sections and joined several of them relating to event and wedding planning.  If you are on Linkedin.com, please add me to your connections.  

In addition to working on that aspect of networking and getting my information out, I started working on the Facebook approach.  I know very few people who aren't on Facebook and many businesses these days are advertising through the pages.  So it seemed like that would be a good approach as well.  I worked for several hours, adding pictures and some information.  Please check out "The Affair To Remember" on Facebook...we are the one and only! "Like" us and share our link on your profile.  The more people who know about us, the better!
